If detox diets are bad for you, why do I feel GREAT??
>> Tuesday, April 7, 2009
There have been lots of news stories about detox diets recently, and I've found that opinions are not entirely balanced. Typically they have focused on the negative side effects particularly of extreme detox diets, but they have rarely touched on the reasons that someone should consider detoxing. As I often find with those involved in modern medicine, there is an air of disbelief that our bodies might just be able to cure themselves, if given the right opportunity and diet...
So why should you consider a detox?
- Do you carry around extra weight that is weighing you down both physically and mentally?
- Do you feel tired, lethargic, constantly fatigued?
- Do you feel over stressed, particularly with your inability to make a change that will make you feel better?
- Do you feel that your body is reaching out to ask you for help? Are you in tune and listening to your body?
- How do you want to feel in 6 months? 1 year, 2 years? Do you want to continue as you are, or do you want to make a lifestyle change that could change your life?

I just came across your great site. A lot of valuable information here. Carry on the good work. I know that detox works. I recovered from chronic fatigue with juicing and detox foods. You don't have to starve or crave if you nourish your body with the right foods.
